For me it was a real eye-opener for how much and how fast he could process information. It really helped me see that he could handle subjects quite a bit higher than what I assumed. It helped me understand what "his normal" was in regards to academics and which school choice was best for him. After reading the book, I was convinced that he needed to be tested. That was my final confirmation (the testing).
