I posted courses at Austin's magnet Middle schools on Middle School forum.

Here is the Magnet HS courses. This school is 50% GT students. Colleges from all over the US recruit these students for their colleges and Universities.

Parents on this site have been interested in the different courses offered.

    Look at Academics and extracurricular.

There are some great looking courses listed there! Tolkien, sci-fi, robotics, and all the cool upper level math topics... I am impressed!

Do you HAVE to take Bio as a 9th grader?

Yes, but it covers one year of bio in 1/2 year. There are two choices, magnet and regular.

The math course selection is quite enviable.

They yield nice average SAT scores with only half GT.

I am surprised by the 10 point grade system as I thought the public elites usually have 6 or 7 point grading scales.
