Thank you, I just started reading more and more of your posts about your kids and they sound really amazing.

We did get our sixteen page single spaced report today. I PM'd Dottie some of my concerns about it.

I would like to retest her with SB5, but her fluid reasoning was done with SB5 so I think there is going to be a waiting period.

    I appreciate your welcoming words.

Yes, I cannot believe how many not interpretable scores we had. The report says "Behavioral observations indicate a strong need for feedback and some perfectionistic tendencies." and goes on to talk about how her perfectionism may have actually lowered her score in the timed tests.

The other thing that seems odd to me is that the tester said that "Her home school experiences appear to have been notably enriching for her, given her high achievement score that exceeds her cognitive score." Well -- I'm not that good a home schooler. I see my friends who do all kinds of enriching things, and compare them to me, and I'm really not in their league as a homeschool teacher. My ego would like to believe that I am doing a fabulous job of homeschooling, but I don't think so. That one sentence, more than any other, makes me question the cognitive results and makes me think that the IQ score is not accurate.

Welcome Treasuremapper. I'm a non-DYS home-schooler as well. May I ask what your reasons were for IQ testing? For example: access to resources or schools, looking for issues, guidance for homeschooling? That statement in your last post is interesting, especially since you don't agree with it. Is there any reason that your tester might have had a chip of his/her shoulder>
