TMJ - I think that's great about the preschool. My dd (now nearly 5) couldn't wait to attend preschool, herself. I was just curious if the psych thought it was important for social/friend or other issues.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you are able to gain a spot at the school and that it is a good fit. Keep us posted!

Go CFK! You're right, MG and HG come with their own laundry list. A friend of mine has a very bright daughter who she never considered for sevices because she was basing her "picture of GT" on my DS6 (DYS). Her daughter scored fully 3 grade levels over the norm on her recent NWEA's and i've finally convinced my friend to look into accelerated classes of some sort.

Great point CFK and Dottie. So easy to get caught up over a number but at the end of the day its just that, especially at this young age.

Thanks for your post CFK. After being on here for awhile I started to think of my DS as slightly above average even though he's probably about 2.5-2.75 ( laugh ) SD's above the mean and not the 3-4+ SDs found here. But I do find needed information here and I feel welcomed here!
