My DD6 has recently been asking me questions about the TV. "How do they make the words go up the screen and how did they make that person disappear?."
Needless to say...I am clueless about the video world.
Does anyone know of any kid-friendly resources, books or preferably websites, that may help feed her curiosity in this area.
Can't wait to see whats' next!

There are many computer software programs for the average user to produce videos. I think I broke down and bought PowerDirector but there are others as well. The Adobe products and others. I think there is even one that comes with Windows called Windows Movie Maker. They probably all have some form of adding scolling text or credits....basically they overlay text animation on the video or background. You should know that video programs are very buggy. You get what you pay for...LOL! but still buggy on windows. I've been told the MAC is kinder for video producing but I have no personal experience.

I was going to add that you could just play around with windows movie maker for a start.
