Dottie - thanks again for your help! I recevied confirmation from our psych today that he is preparing an updated scoring report reflecting the correct FSIQ. I feel better knowing that we have correct, factual information for planning discussions with the schools, DYS app, etc.

A final update for this thread. In addition to his Kindergarten 30 mins/day reading enrichment, DS6 is now spending time on his own with the GT Coordinator 30 mins/day, as well as joining the 1st grade enrichment 30 mins/day. He has been so much happier the past few weeks since this has been implemented smile

The PS administration has met twice and will be meeting with us in the next week or so to discuss options (including skip to 2nd grade). In addition, we heard from the school psychologist and she will be administering the WIAT-II next week for DS.

Things couldn't be going better with the PS. And, from everything that I have learned here I feel so much more prepared in having discussions with them - thanks everyone!

We also visited a Pvt school, and we were very impressed. But, with the PS being so proactive and supportive with DS, we're leaning in that direction. The next couple of weeks should answer our open questions.

I'm sure once we get WIAT scores, and meet with the PS administration on education plan, I'll be starting a new thread seeking more advice wink
