    Dottie and all,
I have a report from the school psychologist for the WISC IV but have no idea how to calculate the GAI, even after looking at the Pearson website. Does someone have time to help?

If I give the sub test scores can you calculate it? Or, do I have to have the raw scores? Still nothing for the WPPSI like this, yes?

WISC IV DD9 (was 8 at the time)
    VCI 152
    PRI 127
    WMI 120
    PSI 126
    FSIQ 141
Verbal Comprehension - she hit two "19" ceilings and one 18, I don't know if that is helpful info or not!
Is there anything else that helps to calculate it?

    Thanks!

Here's a link to a worksheet that you can use to calculate the GAI for yourself. It also gives an approximation of FSIQ based on the GAI.

You do need the subtest scores for Vocab, Comprehension, Similarities, Block Design, Matrix and Picture Concepts to calculate the GAI.

Generally the GAI is only calculated if there is at least a 9 point spread between subtest scores (i.e. she would have to have a subtest standard score that was 10 or lower for that to be true).

If you still want someone to calculate it for you, post the subtest scores.

Since she hit two 19 ceilings she fits the criteria for being considered for extended scores. I can give you a link for that if you have the raw scores. If you don't and the person who did the testing has them you could ask for the scores or ask them to calculate the extended scores for you.

Thank you both! I don't have the raw scores, I have an official report with just the subtest scores. She was tested by the county, I called the tester, but she knows nothing about extended scores and said that I was the first person who ever asked.
    Thanks again!
