Thanks everyone, We checked out the language immersion class. DD seemed a bit overwhelmed by it . The class is entirely in the second language. Even visitors and parents speak only the new language in the class room. The program was very cool, but I think the unfamiliar language and unfamiliar first year of school at still 4 would be too much right now.
This school was wonderful and I think it would be a good fit for elementary down the road. The principal and administrators were very nice and seemed well educated about GT issues. We are going to continue with the early entrance part, partially so we have more information to make decisions. I think we will let go of the immersion idea for now because DD was not big on it.
DH still is thinking about moving, and I learned so much visiting this school and talking to this district already. I think it could be a really good place for us at some point.
