How persuasive are the "big-name" experts? I doubt that any of them could help convince the school that DD needs acceleration.
I laughted when I saw our friendly Talent Search guide to the explore scores. "If any of your scores are above the 50th percentile"...you may to consider the options for acceleration. etc.
DD's composite is 99th%tile (I think eligible for an award), two subtests at 100%tile. We are going to share these results with the school, but I expect to hear about other students who have done as well as DD, and some comment about "burning out" if she's challenged too much. We've heard it before.
