DD10 took Explore last weekend. I gave her the option of retaking it since I really don't need the data to advocate this year. She was so excited to do it again and wanted to see if she can improve from last year. Weird kid...LOL!

She will do the SCAT later this month, our first time with this test.

As far as Explore, DD thought Science was as hard as last year and math was easier. I think the test may be the same but she has been accelerated in math more and was exposed to more material. She is +1 in science and they do not interpret graphs to this extent yet. She almost ran out of time in science and had to quickly fill the last 10 questions.

This year I am not as anxious for the results, but I'm sure I'll be jogging to the mailbox later on.

That goes without saying, LOL! I don't think I'm terribly interested this year, but watch how obsessed I get at the 6-8 week mark, crazy .

    8 weeks??? frown

Our testing place gave us the 3-4 weeks speech and I had to chuckle (along with all the parents that had BTDT before).

Last year it seemed extra-long. I've never heard 3-4 though! I think it's always been more than 6! *sigh*

I've managed to stay distracted for now (currently freaking out over my own Calc test this Friday that I've only just started studying for...), but just as soon as I run out of other things to think about I'm sure that's going to pop right up to the top of the list! smile

    Sigh...

I just keep telling myself to forget about the test until after DS's b'day in March smile

A sleepover with 10 9-11 year old boys should keep me distracted. At least I hope I'm just distracted and not insane!
