It was very big turn out today for ACT in my town. DS10 & DS12 took it, as did several other middle school kids we know. Now the waiting begins, but luckily I'll be distracted by Christmas shopping & festivities, so maybe I won't think about it much. Anyone else's kids test today?

The same 2 DS's are doing the SAT in Feb (I thought they should try the shorter one first).

Dottie, I wonder if you'd give me advice. We finally have an EXPLORE test center in town (compared to having to drive 3 hrs each way like I had to for my other kids). DS 7 is a 3rd grader--what's your opinion about him doing the EXPLORE? I don't want him to get discouraged by a really hard test. My kids previously did EXPLORE in 5th and 6th grade. DS 7 is probably 4th-6th grade level.
