This popped up on one of my homeschooling lists and it made me chuckle. I had to share:

What is the volume of a pizza with radius z and thickness a?

    .
    .
    .

(Are you sure you want to hear this?)

    .
    .
    .

    Pi*z*z*a, of course!

    CLEVER, no?! smile

I loved it! I sent it to 3 female coworker/friends and had to explain it. I then sent it to 2 male coworker/friends and they thought it was good!

Well, sure! Duh! I hadn't even thought of it as a real teaching device! Just as a fun math joke, since that was how it was presented on the list.
