    Hi ajinlove,
My kid's school uses coGAT as one of the criteria for gifted services. Data supporting he is already academically ahead and teacher observations, rating scales, some other assessments to check their critical thinking abilities are significant too.

For cogAT, the percentile to SAS conversion and vice versa are straightforward. I randomly googled and this link has it.

    http://www.nsd.org/Page/28102

Therefore, if you have your kid's percentiles, please check her SAS scores here.

Also, some some info about stanines here.

‘S’ stands for Stanines which represents a ranked comparison of the students on a nine-point scale. If the student is marked Stanines 1, 2 or 3 it means that the student is below average, stanines 4, 5 and 6 will represent average and stanines 7, 8 and 9 will represent above average students. Therefore, stanine 1 represents poor performance and stanine 9 represents top performance.
