    I had meant to give you the full results after your comment on auditory vs visual memory as well as the comments on FRI vs PSI. Based on the breakout below, is reading out loud and going through vocabulary the right focus here? It seems to me that because her vocabulary "issues" she is getting looked over at school as well.

    Sorry, I didn't see this earlier.

    I see that her auditory and visual memory came out pretty equal. It is certainly possible that her oral vocabulary is contributing to her ability being underestimated in the school setting. It might be interesting to see how she performs on standardized tests of reading and listening comprehension, versus pure decoding (achievement testing, usually done by a psychologist or learning specialist). I was also thinking about what you mentioned earlier regarding empathy and emotional self-regulation, and wonder if there isn't something to be investigated with regard to language processing (particularly social and inferential). (This would be conducted by a speech language pathologist.) How is she socially, especially with peers?
