We go to a church that is unusual in that half the people attend aren't of the same denomination as the church. There are a lot of fairly conservative, creationist people there whereas I am not. I just give him the scientific side. The other day we had bible stories and Stephen Hawking at bed time. It was challenging when it was questions about where the first man came from when there were no woman etc.

We play the Santa Claus game and I tease ds7 about the tooth fairy but he knows it is me.

DD4 watched Aladdin and decided she wanted a magic lamp. I tried to explain gently that that sort of magic doesn't exist. As her eyes started to well up I quickly added - at least not here on Earth. She seized on this and to this day talks about 'when she grows up and becomes an astronaut and finds the planet with the magic lamps'. She's also planning on marrying a Genie when she gets there.
