My daughter recently took the CogAT at her elementary school and did not qualify. All the letter has for information is this:

    Verbal- 98%
    Quantitative- 97%
Verbal and Quantitative above 90%? - Yes
    Non Verbal - 91%

I asked the counselor for her full results and profile. They said they only had subtest and section raw scores, not a standard score.

I'm confused. Shouldn't they have all the information to create an ability profile?

    Thank for any advice...

Our school only provided percentiles as well. I was able to get raw scores when asked for them. They told me they would need to contact Riverside to get the SAS scores.

Our school only provided percentiles, except for the "composite" SAS for their own rubric (it is not a true composite of all three subtests).

I experienced this same thing. I was told by multiple people that the school didn't have the SAS scores, etc. I assumed that it was because the school didn't need all that data, didn't pay for it, whatever. I called the district office for help. When I talked to the testing coordinator for the county, he said that the school hand-scored the CogAT because it was only a small group of students. In order to get the percentiles, they had to calculate the SAS. He called the school on my behalf and I had the full report in 48 hours.

Hmm... I tried to reply a while ago, but it's not showing? Is there are way to convert these to get an ability profile?
