Same developer, same game element. So far it's a hit smile (We only got it today)

We saw that! Anyone try it yet? DS4 cruised through Dragonbox 1 last year...but we never moved on to Dragonbox 2 because we though it might be a bit too tough at this point. I would love if anyone wanted to give a bit of a review of the geometry one.

It's great! I'm finding it's helpful to actually name for DD what's going on with geometry terms, like "You need to make a trapezoid monster" or "See if you can prove that the triangle is equilateral."

That's been our experience, too. Much more useful to mention the theorems in play, or much easier for me, and likely more useful for DS. But very well thought out app for teaching how to see the connections.

Hi, I work for WeWantToKnow, the company that makes the DragonBox games. There's some very useful feedback here, we really appreciate it!

Our next update will address some of your comments. There will be a "polydex" added that give kids an overview of the different kinds of creatures they've summoned thus far, and what kinds of special properties they have. There might still be room for other callouts though, we'll keep experimenting smile

I have not tried it myself, and aside from translating the Americanese to English (teehee) there seem to be no issues with it this side.

Nathan is loving it. Aiden has set aside a portion of tomorrow afternoon to try it out.

The only problem we had is that our original iPad is too old to run it and the iPods are small enough that it gets hard to manipulate the graphics. But with pinch-to-zoom it does still work.

DD12 went through it in a weekend. DD7 worked through the first two regions in that time. I guess they liked it!

Aiden (7) agrees that it's a hit. He completed the first two chapters in the car between running around this morning.
