For those who are homeschooling, did you go this route?

Never had a need. Homeschooling rights are legislatively protected in my state.

HSLDA isn't about homeschooling, it's about lobbying for biblical patriarchy.

    Homeschool Legal Defense Association. It's a US-based advocacy/legal/lobbying group.

They've done some good work to advance the cause of homeschooling in the US, but it was largely motivated to protect the "rights" of parents to prevent their children from knowing the planet is older than 6000 years, or that the Holocaust was a thing. All benefits from their work to the gifted population are entirely accidental.

LOL! Aha thanks Dude smile We have a similar organisation here - they spend a large portion of their time lobbying for more recognition of home schooling with our parliament, political parties etc. Ours was founded AFAIK to defend (in court if needed) any homeschooling family belonging to it, as well as advocating for better legislature etc for homeschoolers.

I wonder if there are ties or at least if they were inspired by your HSLDA...
