    It seems to me that it might be worthwhile getting an eval. from someone very experienced with 2e who is very knowledgeable about autism and giftedness. It seems like a possibility based on some of what you have shared. I think it might be worth seeing if you could do a phone consult with someone like Dr. Amend in KY and then deciding how to proceed.
