22B - I haven't read studies recently but a couple of years I did read a comparison of giving children both the WPPSI and the SB5 which concluded that they were mostly very comparable, but that some children did inexplicably do better on one or the other, which was not(according to the study) related to either the order in which the tests were given or the tester giving the test. They seemed to conclude that some children may have been suffering from "bad day" (they were young children, thus the use of the WPPSI not the WISC) but that in some cases it was also believed that one or other test did just suit that particular child better. That has certainly been the case for my children on the non verbal section. So yes, if you can afford to get your unevenly profiled child tested (by an expert tester) on the SB5 then it is possible that you might see a much better score that enables you to get into whatever program you were hoping for. Or you might not....
