Well, I wish you luck. And yes, it's very frustrating with not getting the test scores. Nevertheless, I think ds7.5 will eventually get them. I used a general curriculum series (grades 1-6) last year to gather work samples for DYS based on a 2e expert's advice.

I don't know about to say about the testing. I didn't pay money for the WJ as the public schools administered the test for free, though we're homeschoolers. I don't have the money to spend thousands on private testing and our insurance will not cover the testing with a 2e expert. I might have ds 7.5 try again in the spring or next year, depending on his social/emotional state. Then again, there are other tests and it might be worthwhile to wait with him. I wouldn't be surprised if ds did better with the SAT in a year or so.

A lot of the testing depends on the tester and testee on the day at this age. It depends on the social/emotional maturity of the testee, their confidence, whether they have performance and/or test anxiety, any 2e issues that impede the test, and the list can go on and on.

I bought them online. We always have these kinds of books laying around as DS has always enjoyed doing them every now and then.

What website did you use to buy your worksheets? Just curious as I am looking for some for my DD to send in.
    Thanks!

I would also like to request for the source of those science worksheets, somewhereonearth. I am putting together a portfolio - but not for DYS, just a local gifted group and thought that it might help. Thanks!
