Lorel Member Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 970 New England	Junior year is when it counts as far as the National Merit Qualifying Test is concerned, and that's what most people are talking about when they want to know when to take it. But it is becoming popular to take it sophomore year for practice- something that was unheard of back in my day.
