My apologies if these questions are ridiculously obvious (lack of sleep may be a factor here, but may not, too) wink.

Did you answer the questions by hand or did you type them out on separate paper? Also, if I emailed my part of it, is it okay if the recommendation letter comes later, or should I give that letter some time to arrive before I send out my part of it? Also, if I miss the deadline tonight, which is looking likely, do I wait to the end of the next month or can I send it when I have it and they'll just wait to look at it?

I don't think they're too picky. I sent mine typed on separate paper. I am also sure that my application came before the recommendation letter. If you miss the deadline, just send it when you have it ready. You will be put in the next round, but you don't need to wait for any particular date.

I think I typed my answers in the form - it's a fillable PDF, isn't it?

My recommender sent her recommendation in separately, I think by email but I am not certain.

I typed my answers straight into the form and e-mailed it. Mt letter of recommendation was in much earlier. It is my impression that they review your app as long as it is complete by the end of the month.

I typed my answers into the PDF and sent it. The letter of rec got there first. I had sent it to DD's doctor with plenty of time for her to complete it and she surprised me and had it done in two days. I hadn't even finished the app by that time. I got and email from them letting me know they had received the app, test scores, and letter of rec, and that her application was complete and would go in for review in May. So now we just wait.

I received a message that our application is incomplete because they haven't received the recommendation letter yet (which I knew would happen). Once they receive it, I'm assuming they'll send me an email stating the application is complete, right? Or will I need to resend everything?

Be careful KADmom - our letter of recommendation got in before the application and when we sent the application in we were initially rejected for incompleteness, DW sent an email stating that it had been sent in early (by its author) and we then got a reply on 3/28 stating that our application was complete and we would get a confirmation shortly.

We waited. And we waited. And we waited some more. Eventually after April was over we inquired and found to our horror that our application had not made it into the April pile. We now have to wait until the end of this month (cry). My advice is try to find out what 'pile' your application will be in once you get confirmation that they have everything.

We had naively assumed that because everything was in by 3/28 that we would be in the April pile - how wrong we were...

Oh dear. Sorry about your wait. And thanks for the warning. I'll be sure to inquire if I haven't heard anything in a bit...

In the confirmation email I was sent, it told us it would go into review for May, I'm not sure if they normally tell you or if she did because I had been communicating with her by email. Good luck everyone.
