    This looks like the classic case of an extremely intelligent kid being misdiagnosed with a condition he never had. I strongly doubt that Jacob Barnett is actually autistic. [Donning flak jacket now.]

    This is on my list to read. A good book that is somewhat similar is "Square Peg", so you might want to check into that too.
