Agree with Pemb on the lab school.

In our experience, if you put up signs in the education and nursing departments of a community college, you will find people who are very able to do good wrap-around care. Get 'em now, because it gets harder in the summer...

I attended a lab preschool. 3 years later when I started GATE, a program where all the kids in GATE were bussed to a common location within the district, it was like a preschool reunion. I knew more than half the kids there.

I'm not sure what the cause and effect was, but there was certainly a correlation!

Pemberly and Deedee, thanks so much for your input. Truly appreciated! Bcos of your suggestions, I completely took the dictator teacher school out of the equation and seriously considering the lab preschool option.
Geofizz, like you note, we can't be sure of the correlation but it was reaffirming to read how so many of you ended up in the gate program. Thanks.
