Hello, recently at my psychologists my IQ was tested (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children) I received the following:

    Verbal Comprehension Index: 132
    Perceptual Reasoning: 123
    Processing Speed: 97
    Working Memory: 98

    Do these scores indicate giftedness?

Is the huge gap between the two former scores and the two latter scores unusual?

Did you receive (or can you request) sub-test scores? Did you receive a written report along with this?

The processing and working memory subtest scores are within the "normal" range, and the PRI and VCI are both outside of that range. As to whether that constitutes "gifted" depends on what you want to accomplish. Some schools might consider that gifted, most seem to want above 130 or 135... some schools only consider the FSIQ, and don't care that one test was really high.

What are you wanting to accomplish with this testing?
