Have any of you received your child's STAR test results yet? I know that there was a delay in releasing them because of cheating, but I think I should have my son's results by now. The school promised to send them 8 days ago and that was the last time I heard from them. The school is so close, I should have received the scores by Saturday if they'd sent them on Thursday. I sent an email and left a voice message, but neither has been answered.

    Advice welcome.

Yes, we got ours 3 weeks ago. My son missed one on math and 3 on verbal; Advanced on both parts. But it's such a simple, silly test- I'm glad they are dumping it for next year!

Interesting that both of you got the scores a while ago. My son's former school is not the most organized institution I've ever encountered. eek I'll stop by and ask about them.

They need something aligned with Common Core now that the state has switched curriculum, and last I checked they were still mulling paying the company responsible for the STAR to develop a new test or reusing something already available.

Our school got their results right before school started (so before the week of 8/20) and I got my copy less than 10 days later. I think we are fairly close to each other? They have a legal obligation to send the results out within a certain timeframe (20 business days), so you might want to complain louder...

Our scores were mailed to our house. Everyone's STAR test scores were delayed this year as the state made sure they didn't see any obvious statistical evidence of cheating. You can google that and read it on their website.
Next year, this Common Standards test will be completely on a computer. No more pencil and paper test.

Thanks for all your responses. We finally got the scores today! DS was advanced in everything and got a perfect score in Science. Good for him.
