    Wow, that's so great! Good luck with the commute, it's great this worked out so well for your family.

    Thanks. The commute will be a huge commitment of my time, but I�ve dedicated a comparable amount when they were young by researching and learning how to best accommodate them. From what I have read on the YS parent email listings, long commutes are not uncommon.

    I wanted to emphasize the possibility of financial aid availability to encourage other parents who don�t think they would ever qualify to try it. This particular school has a substantial endowment to help lower income and middle income families.

    Also, just the application process (for acceptance) was a good experience. DS was required to write multiple essays for the application in addition to the interview and entrance exam. BTW, the ISEE is quite an exam!

    The experience was good even if it hadn�t worked out financially.
