We are going to work on the testing books this summer. We hope to get her a good scholarship and Colorado is very ACT focused. The tuition is $50,000 per year.

Thanks for the answer Alexsmom. This is a relief as to getting into CC. Our big scholarships are based on ACT scores of 27 - which is way less than CC expects.

I haven't read all of it, but it may answer your question better than I could.

Based on comments I've read online in forums like this one, and ds's scores on the EXPLORE one year and the ACT a year later, I think a 25 on the former is roughly equivalent to a 25 on the latter. Ds stopped taking the EXPLORE when he was at or near the ceiling (25) in all four areas, and got three 27's and a 20 on the ACT.

Thanks for all the help. Thanks to College Confidential and Sparknotes, we have a plan of attack.
