I dont know of any links, but my 6th and 8th grade student have both be competing in an ongoing IL state math competition (8th grade level). They must be tough questions because the junior high science and math instructors (both are excellent) are collaborating/debating as they come up with their own answers.

The last score tally had points ranging from the low single digits to 18. DD currently has 17 and DS has 15 points.

    LOL! No doubt!

Obviously having HG+ kids doesn't necessarily mean the parents are GT, given how long it took me to figure that out... blush

This is an elementary link, but I thought it might be helpful as a resource for some of you. I am not sure at what point this gets changed for the following year or even dropped until the next school year. If you are interested, you might want to download soon.

I am not sure if there is a chance of getting previous questions from the competitions or not. The person to contact with that would be Kyle Harrop. kharrop@iasp.org

The invitational questions at http://www.iasp.org/dspmath.aspx are a mixed bag. Some are relatively easy. Others make one think. There is a time during the "season" that practice questions are posted. The competition for the kids is the first Tuesday in March every year, so the postings are sometime prior to that.
