    Thanks everybody for your input.

    The decision has finally been made -- DS is going to do the IB certificate program at the public school close by. He visited the private school, we all weighed the options, and in the end let DS choose. They are both good programs and I'm convinced that he will be more motivated to succeed because we let him choose.

    I guess time will tell . . .
