My middle school son is already having problems in school the 4th week of school.
I am going to offer him the opportunity to go back to homeschooling (we did it when he was younger).
I am putting together what I would think homeschooling would look like if he chooses to stop going to middle school and I think I have everything covered except I was wondering....
Does anyone know of a general curriculum for middle school technology class? Could be something online, could be something (a book) I purchase that he would self follow. Probably high school level would be good.
I mean I could develop a self paced, project based class where I assign him like ...make a power point presentation (for the smart board) on a topic that your dad could use to teach his class at school--he is your client and he will give you the topic and guidelines, film and edit a (x number of minutes) movie on an approved topic/subject, do a project of your choice, make an advertisement for the chamber of commerce in a media of your choice,teach your mother how to use photoshop, etc.
But I would love something that taught copy write and some other information to fill in the gaps of a project based class where he just worked on it on his own.
Any ideas?
