Sleep is a constant battle with Mr W. Some weeks its not so bad, others it is bad.
On a high novelty day with lots of new people and things, he will sleep well. Or, if he has a play date with several boys 2-4 years older than he, then he is guaranteed to crash.
Otherwise, the battle begins at 8 pm and he usually finally dies around 10 pm. He has figured out how to sneak out of his room, shut his door, then play in a tent in the piano room or he raids the fridge or plays on the piano or takes 10 books and go into the bathroom to read. Other nights he stays up reciting books from memory, talking to his toys, or doing math out loud. LOL.
And he pops out of bed around 6 am.

A while ago I posted a few pics of Mr W at 5 months watching TV and laughing. His favorite shows at that time were Handy Manny and Hannah Montana both of which he would watch all the way through. He still likes the latter.
At 9 months he watched the Wizard of OZ all the way through. (We fast forwarded through the flying monkeys. ) He clearly knew the wicked witch was bad and the good witch was good.
He fell deeply in love with the movie Cars and Kung Fu Panda at 9 months. He still watches Cars when he is sick.
We took him to the theater for the first time at 1 year and about every month since and he has watched the movies all the way through since that age. We show him the previews and then he decides what he wants to see.
Based on suggestions from this site, we got him the leap frog DVDs at one year and he really likes those although he is way past the subject material. He still likes to watch them every now and then.
We limit his TV time to less than an hour a day. He gets to pick what he watches.
