Dd4 is doing really well at the kindergarten. She will be 5 in april. I have already talked with the elementary school about registering her, and it just sounds so 'routine', what a relief!

I hadn't talked to her teacher in a few weeks, but yesterday when I picked her up, she sounded so pleased to have dd in her classroom. She said she did really well that day, I think she (and I ) were having some doubts because dd, until a few weeks ago, was still pondering the reading thing. Now she is happily reading all the small words presented to her, and lots of bigger ones. Still very eager to see any and all books she can, etc. but now she is trying to read them.

Only issue is, she has plenty of days where she'd rather just stay home. Not much of an option, but thankfully when I pick her up she is always engaged in some fun activity and seems to get along really well with the other kids. (for the most part, a few bumps, as expected)

Also, she has started selling girl scout cookies and wants to sell '1000' boxes, and was able to fill out the form info herself, very cute. smile
