Thanks for the info. You're right, Dottie, my son is in there. His WIAT was done a week or two before his 8th birthday and his pseudoword score was 135. I had not known that the ceilings were so different for all the subtests, and was curious as to why a 135 would garner a >12.9 grade level equivalent on one test, while on another test, the score would need to be 20+ points higher to garner the same grade level equivalency. I had no idea that the ceilings would change with the age of the child, but thinking about it, it makes perfect sense.

Knowledge about tests and ceilings is obviously a large gap in my own education. blush Thanks for your help!
