We're in Newark, and we are just finishing up our first year homeschooling. I think most homeschooler's have the core stuff covered at home, because those subjects can be very difficult to learn in a group setting for gifted homeschoolers.

I think something that has been fairly difficult to find at a higher level for highly gifted younger homeschool students is chemistry that is not kitchen science type science.

I'm just going on what my ds would like, and that would be Comparative Mythology, Astronomy (that goes in depth!), and Oceanography. I have had great difficulty finding these classes, and have decided that I need to create my own.

My little guy (5, nearly 6) would LOVE any sort of building class, that would focus on different types of building mediums.
