For one, she will get more points on the Iowa Acceleration Scale. But mostly, the arguement I have had with the school Admin is because she consistently scores 99% in all areas on standardized testing. They say there are other kids that score high too. But that just means that the kids are scoring good at grade level. This, hopefully, will show them that while she scores good at grade level, she still scores good "above" grade level.
We have had a really hard time and the enrichment from year to year is a joke. For example, in 3 grade, she was being pulled out and given 6th grade language arts, but then in 4th grade she had to endure 4th grade language arts, now in 5th grade, she is doing 6th grade language arts(which she did back in 3rd grade!)
Just hopefully another way to prove my point to the school.
