I am no idiot (well maybe I am. After two kids and being home with them full time, I do feel a little muddled) but I am corrected and questioned on a daily basis. If I say something that is just a little vague, she tries to get me to clarify etc. Sometimes it is annoying because I really have to be on my toes, but once in awhile it is handy when I forget something or can't remember what I was going to say and my three year old finishes my sentences. The other day she wanted me to videotape her singing a very, very long song with verse after verse and I said, "if you forget the words look at my lips and I can help you" but the joke was on me because when I went to help, I realized she ignored me, who was wrong, and knew all ten million verses herself. I used to be smart with degrees from ivy league schools, MENSA, published writer, but I get my butt kicked daily by someone who wears a diaper for part of the day.
