My 2 DDs each have FSIQ of 140 on SB5 and 139 on WPPSI-3. I thought the DYS minimum IQ criteria was based on a FSIQ of 145-150 (depending on the test used), which would disqualify both DDs. However, after reading some of your posts here, I get the impression that kids can qualify with only verbal being over the minimum score for example. Can GAI alone also qualify you? If so, how do I calculate GAI?
I realize we would also have to submit a portfolio or do achievement testing, but until now, I have always thought we couldn't even consider applying with those IQ scores.
Do you guys know something I don't about DYS application criteria? Can you educate me?
