thanks for the replies. I will check out the other boards too. I thought the student only had to have finished 5th grade curriculum to be ready academically if they had qualifying test scores. I will have to look into that. I could surely use a year to prepare and think about a giant move like that.
Honestly, I hate rushing to be prepared for next fall and checking out flights to visit in january is not so encouraging. The flights are $$$ from NY to Reno. If he is too young to go in the fall I can wait and shop for better flight prices!
So, can anyone tell me about the Woodcock Johnson acheivement test? It tests what they actually know, right? School material?
