That being said, this was same evil teacher who wanted him to repeat kindergarten because he had yet to color a picture and stay in the lines. Nevermind he was reading 4 years above grade level and doing math at least 2 years above. That was irrelevant. Coloring is important.
Sounds like my K teacher. She wanted me held back because I couldn't tie my shoes. My mom simply switched me to velcro.
Oh, yeah, and I refused to dance with the letter people (on the grounds that I found it juvenile and absurd). I
did get in big trouble for that, but I stand by my decision to this day.
