Do your DCs like to mix (but not mix up) different characters, real and imaginary, in the same story?

DD asked me the other day to tell her a story about herself, some real friends, Miffy and Tarzan, but not Jane laugh

I actually introduced her to the idea of mixing (my oncle did that to me when I was little) and she has become a real enthousiast about it. Now, the more 'variety' the better.
