My ds is 7 yrs old and will be taking the WISC-IV and WIAT-II on Saturday. He took the wppsi when he was just turned 4 and scored a 130 and the tester said he wouldn't do the easy problems just the hard ones and so she couldn't give him credit for the easy ones even through she knew he knew how to do them. That if he had done them his score would have been higher.
Age wise he is a 2nd grader however he has been moved up to 3rd grade. He will be moved up to 4th grade math in 2 weeks and then 5th grade math in january. He will also be moved up to 4th grade science in 2 weeks and possiblily Language arts too.
He is my first child so I don't know what exactly a PG child looks like. But he will eventually be working 3 grade levels above in math. He can read anything but chooses not to.
Any help on identifing if he really is a PG child would be helpfull. I also have a 20 month old lil dd that is already counting to 20, can say her alphabet and some letter sounds.
Has a huge vocabulary and talks in 3-5 word sentences. So, she may be like her brother but is still to young to know for sure but is already ahead of her age peers.
