This forum appears to be a great resource, very glad to have found it!

It looks like there are several folks on this board that are knowledgable about testing, so I thought I'd ask for any input you might have about my son's test. He was 11 years 11+ months when he took the WISC-IV and got what, for me, were surprising results.

His verbal score was high (155) but his processing score was below average (91). His perceptive reasoning (I think that's what it was called) score was 129 and working memory 120, so both in the middle somewhere. I don't have the written report yet so that's the limited amount of information I know - I didn't write down any subtest scores, although I guess I should have! I'd be curious to have some perspective on that big a discrepancy between the highest and lowest scores.

Thanks in advance and I look forward to participating more in the forum!
