We are considering testing with the WISC in the fall because DS took the SB-5 and fell just shy of DYS qualifying scores. Our tester suggested using the WISC because she believe it favors more verbal children, but he wasn't 6 at the time and would have had ceiling issues on the WPPSI. I'm not sure how he'll do with the timed portions of the WISC however. He loves a competition but often freaks if he's timed when alone.
