Hmm, sorry about that! I was going off of our original conversation with the psych who is testing dd. When I suggested the SB-V, she felt that it wasn't necessary to do two IQ tests and that the WISC-IV alone should give us the IQ score with the RIAS giving us more info on her visual spatial abilities. The way she phrased that left me feeling that the RIAS was not an IQ test since we didn't need "two IQ tests." Also, the manufacturer says it takes something like 35 mins to administer and the psych dd is testing with mentioned something like 20 mins. I guess that, too, led me to believe that such an abbreviated test wouldn't provide a full scale IQ.

That aside, she apparently opted to go with the SB anyway, although I don't know for sure. I guess that I'll get some clarity on that when dd goes in for the final session or when we meet for the post testing report. Dd just thought that the SB was what she took today and she described a block tapping test that sounded like something from the SB from what I understand is included in that test.
