i just joined the board but have been reading for a while.
my DD is 4 years 10 months and we just finally got her tested after years of both wonderful and perplexing behavior that we now know to be giftedness. Though her scores are good, they don't meet DYS cutoff. I am wondering if it makes sense to retest.. either to rule out ceiling effect (she got one 19).. or for the possiblity she just has a "better day" and can bring her score up 3 points.. any ideas appreciated.
