I knew Kriston would have some good recommendations. I can comment a bit on whether the Osborne one would be good for sensitive readers. Osborne does not change the myths, so for example, Odin still plucks out one of his eyes. But there are no icky pictures. It seems there are a lot of eyeball-related things in the norse myths... So if you're squeamish about even talking about someone pulling a dead giants eyeballs out of his robes and throwing them up in the sky to become stars, then Norse myths are probably not for you!
