I did check out a copy of Ruf last month (thanks to discussions I read on the board). It was a real eye-opener for me! I would conservatively put dd4 at a "4" ... although there are parts of her development that fit as "5" as well. But then I would talk myself out of those things because that's just too much for me to digest crazy I even made my mom read the book and she felt the same.

I really appreciate all of this feedback. I am wondering if any of the testing experts on this board might be able to help me understand dd's wppsi results any better? I have read comments about "ceilings" ... including in the link st pauli girl so kindly posted for me (thanks, st pauli girl). DD did score 18s and 19s on all of her verbal subtests but I'm not sure how that might apply to the wppsi.
