I have been lurking on this site for two years now reading everything and finding wonderful guidance and support.
However, we are now at the point where we really would like to meet up with other parents locally who have younger gifted children and who might be able to educate us as to the local resources that are available. I've tried contacting our local school system and was not happy with the "wait until she is in 3rd grade" approach.
